I like Renee a lot. She's a put your head down and work prosecutor and I believe she would make a fair judge.

Rene is great. When will Barr be on?

Renee is the whole package: She is a good person with solid moral values, has an even temperment, is conscientious, is diligent, is a great prosecutor with many years experience; she will make an excellent judge.
VOTE FOR RENEE!

(HER OPPONENT JIM BARR WAS REMOVED FROM THE BENCH IN THE
90'S FOR MISCONDUCT--GOOGLE HIM TO LEARN MORE)

Anon 9:51 a.m.,

All candidates around the CJC who are in contested primaries are welcome to be on the show.

But one at a time.

The fact that Jim was removed from office is the reason no female ADA after the late 1990s has ever been sexually harassed by a judge. His inappropriate, sexual comments were part of the reason he was removed from the bench; the reviewing juducial committee's decision in 1997 encouraged other "boy's club" judges to act more professionally lest they lose their bench. Please make sure you vote for Rene to ensure that Jim never becomes a judge again. I am thrilled the judicial committee removed him the first time, but I wish they'd decided that he could never run again. When he ran for an appellate judicial spot in 2000, a concerned group of attorneys circulated a letter to all attorneys in Houston reminding them of Barr's history. I fear too much time has passed for everyone to remember or know of his past. That is why I'm posting now.

OFF TOPIC BUT IMPORTANT NONETHELESS:

Mr. Newman -I heard a very "positive grapevine rumor" about you and your immediate family. Congratulations, and may you ALL (immediate and extended families) have: Domestic Tranquility, Good health, Good Family blending, and a long and happy life together. As I always say when the very brave have actually ask ME to officiate this blissful occasion:

Marriage is like a pair of shears. "Oft times working in opposite directions, but punishing anyone that comes between them".
-Sydney Smith

No doubt some in F.V. may find something sinister about this - :)

God Bless you both

Judge Larry Standley
