So, when a person signs for Deferred Adjudication, they are being lied to, for they will never actually get their criminal record expunged?
Depends on what they are being told.
They may be eligible for a Petition for Non-Disclosure, but if they are taking a Deferred, they aren't going to be eligible for an Expunction.
