Mark Bennett & The Time Lines

If you aren't a regular reader of Mark Bennett's Defending People because it isn't quite as wildly entertaining as mine is, you should be.  Both he and Paul Kennedy have been doing an excellent job of trying to keep up with the debacle with the 185th Grand Jury.

Yesterday, apparently, Pat Lykos posted on her website her own time line about the B.A.T. van scandal, and in typical Lykosian fashion, left out the parts detrimental to her and, according to Mark, flat out lied in other places.

You definitely should check it out by clicking here.

She took down the timeline on her campaign website. It now says, "You cant do that right now because you have insufficient rights." Insufficient apostrophes, too, evidently. Way to go, Pat, for continuing to look like you've got something to hide!

Too bad you didn't copy her "time line" before she had it pulled down.
Sure hope the public can see how corrupt and disingenuous the woman really is.

She's just like the Wizard of Oz hiding behind curtains manipulating the system and trying to convince you not to believe your lying eyes and ears...

Who is the judge that reversed the DWI conviction? Was that a Republican judge?

All of the County Court Judges are Republicans. Are they part of the conspiracy too?

I bet it was Robin BROWN!!!! Those damn Browns.

The felony Browns are the ones trying to make Judge Lykos look bad.Not Robin Brown.Judge Robin Brown continues to be a fair neutral judge. She was not part of Chucks crew.

Uh according to the Texas Directory Susan Brown was elected in 1998. Holmes was DA until 2000. That means shenever worked for Rosenthal.

Actually no one has to try to make Lykos look bad since she and her leadership team have been doing such a good job at not only looking bad but actually being bad.

Anon 9:48,

I hate to have to spell this out for you, but Anon 9:10 was being this thing called facetious.

The idea that either Judge Brown is somehow responsible for the Lykos Administration's dirty dealings has about much weight as blaming Ted Oberg for it because he reports it.

That Administration clearly never learned the old adage of "when you find yourself in a hole, quit digging" and they have no one to blame for the scrutiny they are under other than themselves.

Is the Republican Party really this blind in Harris County?

No. Republican voters are.

Harris County Republicans, it is time to wake up. Lykos has no business being in a position as important as DA. She is running this place the way Ken Lay ran Enron. She likes to parade around to show everyone how important she is, but she realizes that she doesn't know how to do her job. When she assumed her throne, she brought with her a series of people who are clear political allies who have never done anything remotely related to criminal law. She added to that people who were washed up defense lawyers who also happened to have some political pull.

Her number one goal is to stay on her throne. Efficiently running one of the most important offices in the county comes in as a distant second.

Fellow Republicans, wake up. It is time to look at qualifications, and not focus solely upon how long someone has been shaking hands and showing fake smiles at meetings.

No Rage, you silly person, the Republican voters are not all blind. It could be that the majority are not informed of the problems. Not Just with Lyco's but with all political issues. Then you have those that simply don't care one way or the other.

Anon 10:05
I agree 100% with your comment.

Karma is a bitch when she comes calling, Lyco's will get hers in the end.
