Congratulations to the Pre-Commits

Congratulations to all of the Pre-Commits who passed the Bar Exam this week.  I can remember the stress and trauma of awaiting my results as if it were yesterday and I'm very happy for you having that behind you.

I see that under the latest "Moves Memo" from the Office that you have all been assigned to your respective courts.

Let me give you some advice -- write down the funny stories that are going to be a part of your life in the days to come.  They may never make a best seller, but they will become something fun to tell your children as they get older.

War stories are one of the greatest benefits of being a Prosecutor.

When you become an older lawyer, you will kick yourself for not writing the early stories down when they happened.

Just trust me on this one.

You forgot to mention we have, for the first time ever, a Chief Investigative Executive in Walker MacAnally and our new ass chief Leon Wilson (and I do mean ass!). Dennis Field has now been demoted to Captain over Trial Bureau, taking over Bob Vernier's old spot. The real tough question is now that Leon is ass chief, what is Grand Jury going to do without an investigator??? How will they survive?! The investigators have to be pissed about it, but I haven't heard a word from any of them. I do know that none of them respects that country bumpkin so I'm sure it's not sitting well.

Guys, keep chin up, heads down, and mouths shut and everything will be fine. We know what it's like to have incompetence at the administrative level. It's just that we've been dealing with it for a whole lot longer...

Which Pre-committs were assigned as the District Attorney and Chief of Special Prosecutions Bureau?

Anyone is better than the idiots currently acting as DA and Chief of SP.

Mike, can we please erase all the current titles of the bureaus and divisions charged when the idiot took over? Please!

I emailed some (but not all) of my stories to my dearest friend who lived in another city, which are the only ones I have from those early days.

I wish I would have emailed that friend more. I had one every day in the beginning and it was overwhelming. But boy do I wish I had just emailed them.

Heard Jim got appointed on a case by Judge Roll. Roll musta seen the weight-lifting video, huh?

Was Joni replaced or is the seat empty until 2013?

Jim is getting appointments from Roll because jim hired Roll's sister as a contract examiner in white collar. Under guess who? Joni Vollman! Those. Sneaky POS.

Damn it feels goof to get rid of the Losership Team.

7:52 you got that right. The POS Leadership Team has constantly traded jobs for favors usually with no regard for qualifications. Wouldn't be surprised to see Rachel assume Joni's place when she leaves shortly.

What's the 4*1*1 on David Benzion, also a picture-taker during Rachel's Motion to Recuse hearing. Is he still "grant writing" or did he hit the road after PL lost the primary?
