Nice, AHCL and Mark. Good souls.
Thank you, Mark. There are a lot of people that care a lot about Mack Arnold. I was glad to hear about some extended family that was there to help. I hope he keeps us posted on Mack's condition.
As an aside, Mack's nephew posted under the name of "Chuck" on the comments. I nearly pooped myself when I saw that "Chuck" had posted.
I think "Leviathan" is really Chuck, moved up a step from "l'Etat".
I'm Mack Arnold's daughter, Angela Arnold. A friend of Mack's made me aware of this blog last night, and today I contacted Mack's nephew, for whom I previously had no contact info. It is a very small world.
My spirits were really lifted last night when I read the postings about my dad. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who finds him to be as stubborn as a mule and yet still quite loveable for it. Also, I've been blow away by the support of Mack's "legal family," and very grateful to have it.
Mack is doing well, and although he would never ever ever ask for your thoughts and prayers, I will.
Best,
Angela

Angela,
One of the best things about being a practicing criminal attorney in Houston, Texas is the history behind the job. In true Texas fashion, there have been some true characters that have graced the courtroom, and have legendary stories about them.
One of the foremost in my mind when I think of some of the last remaining "characters" in the Criminal System is most definitely your dad. He is one of my favorite people in the world, and is truly loved by both the prosecution and the defense. Mack is truly one of the unsung legends that we all know.
We miss his stubborn soul every day that he is absent from the courthouse, and we wish him a speedy speedy recovery.
I think I can speak on behalf of everyone who reads this blog, that if you need a single thing, just let us know, and we'll all come running.
I went to SFA with Mack and I woul like to know if there are any updates.
