The 2009 Rookie of the Year

Congratulations to Judge Shawna Reagin of the 176th District Court who won the 2009 Rookie of the Year at the CJC by a very large margin.

For those of us who practice regularly in her court, that comes as no real surprise. Judge Reagin has done a great job of combining intelligence, fairness and compassion to prove herself as an excellent judge in her first year.

She is backed up by a great court staff that make a visit to her court both a professional and pleasant experience.

Congrats Judge!

I think it's interesting that you mention the staff in congratulating Judge Reagin for winning the poll. That poses an interesting question: For a new judge does the staff make the judge? It is interesting to note that Reagin kept most of the staff when she took the bench. And those who performed the worst in your poll changed the whole staff of their respective courts. Clearly there' s a correlation.

Hopefully the newly elected judges in 2010 will learn something from this observation.

To the #Bastard that referred to Mr. Coyne as a low life.

You must be a nobody to not even write your name down you coward.

Only scum such as you have the audacity to refer to BRIAN COYNE in such Nasty manner.

Perhaps your Mom never gave you a Father figure and you are just making noise like a chicken 🐓 when you see an Eagle as Mr. Coyne.

This is for Attorney , BRIAN D. COYNE 👑 A real successful and regal man with a huge heart ♥️ to always help the people in need.

Merry Christmas to all.
