As you all know, Michael Barrow passed away last week and his family could use some help during this very sad time.
There is a fundraiser being held on Saturday, February 18th between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Grove Park located at 33 Waugh Drive.
I hope you will come and share your memories and help out the family of this wonderful man.

Murray, the defense bar is helping. If each judge would donate 200.00 that would be around 7400.00 which would help,im sure. The judges should not mind that since they make around 140,000.00 a year. This is a positive thing you are doing for the Barrow family.
I will be out of town. Can you post an address?
Yes, absolutely. You can send a check or money order to:
The Michael Barrow Fund
c/o The Harris County Federal Credit Union
1400 Franklin Street
Houston, Texas 77002
And thank you.
Most judges didn't mind sending Michael a request for money so giving some to help his family shouldn't be a problem.
When it comes to dollars judges tend to be takers not givers---like exotic dancers in blackrobes to hide their gluttony.
Just Sayin'
Its a fundraiser for the family.Do we really need to talk about who gives or how much? Or about the salary of some of those that donate?
Can you let the non-criminal bar know what they are donating for? Funeral? Kids' education? I am sure that it is worthy, but a little more explanation might help your non-criminal bar donations. Not that you have any lurkers on this blog....
Michael apparently died without health insurance and/or adequate funds for the funeral. The monies will go to defray these expenses.
